The 6th Ward is truly a gem in St. Louis. It’s central location, diversity of its residents and community involvement makes it an excellent choice to live, work and play. The 6th Ward represents urban living at its best!

HERE'S A GLIMPSE OF OUR GREAT NEIGHBORHOODS:

Fox Park Neighborhood: This “little hood that could” is on the rise. Mentioned in the Mayor’s State of the City address and as one of the hottest places to live, Fox Park neighborhood, offers affordable housing and rich architecture. Neighborhood engagement is a nice plus, as these residents are committed to their beloved Fox Park.

Tower Grove East: The neighborhood of the 6th Ward Alderman, Tower Grove East represents what St. Louis City is: diverse, progressive and vibrant. Storefront businesses, large brick homes, and numerous amenities make TGE neighborhood a true winner.

Compton Heights/Compton Hill Neighborhood: Expansive homes with breathtaking beauty are what makes the Compton Heights/ Compton Hill neighborhoods. In partnership to create a dog park in Reservoir Square, these two neighborhoods are active and focused on working together.

The Gate District: Think surburbia in the city with an urban twist. These new homes offer rich amenities that are attractive to new City residents. An active neighborhood organization keeps this community going. With its close proximity to major highways and downtown St. Louis, the Gate District is an impressive neighborhood.

Peabody, Darst, Webbe: One of the longest existing communities, this community has witnessed much transformation. New beautification efforts, playground equipment and its central location downtown make this neighborhood ripe for development and new business opportunities.

Downtown West: Downtown living at its best is featured in the Downtown West neighborhood. New trendy restaurants, a new fitness center, new boutiques, restaurants and nightlife, make Downtown perfect for the young professional or family looking for the ultimate urban experince.

Midtown: A wonderful business district emerging as the place to be in St. Louis has some of the newest nightclubs and restaurants.

Jeff Vander Lou: A small portion of this rising neighborhood sits in the 6th Ward. Encompassing the historic Scott Joplin house and Martin Luther King Avenue, Jeff Vander Lou offers great history and wonderful commercial and residential development opportunities.
